Jelly Nelly: Comfy Foot Wear Rain or Shine
September 18, 2014
I'm a mom who seldom goes out of the house to buy supplies for my home based business, pay the bills, and run for errands. What I do most of the time is to stay at home and do household chores and go around the vicinity for a walk or stay in the playground to keep up with my two active boys. Because of this lifestyle, I am into wearing flats and sneakers. Believe me, I only own two pairs of heels which I use ocassionally for special events and formal gatherings. My legs and feet get sore when I wear them and I thank God that I am not forced to wear them everyday.
I'm not a fashionista although I'm a beauty junkie. I'm a classic and practical dresser too. When I buy shoes, comfort is my topmost priority. I always go for classic designs that suit most of my outfits. I also go for closed shoes because I'm conscious with my big feet.
When I received my pair of Jelly Nelly Gray Ella-Tropical Kiss Sandals (Thanks, Jelly Nelly!) on the night of September 11 , it was love at first sight although I was worried if my feet would look good on them. They were classic, sleek, lightweight, and scented! Aren't they nice?
I immediately wore them to check out how it would look on my feet. Honestly I was surprised that the sandals complemented my so called "ginger toes and huge feet". Even mom and hubby agreed that my feet looked nice and fresh. I guess the jellies were designed to fit any feet contour. That was the very first time for me to wear such design.
I decided to road test them to check out their comfort. I wore them when going to the supermarket, when accompanying my kids to their swimming session, while playing with them on the playground, and strolling with them around the vicinity. It all happened in one day and my feet didn't feel sore nor tired at all. By the way, here's My Jelly Nelly Photo Album/Slideshow.
Jelly Nelly sandals were lightweight or had a "barely there" feel , non-skid, and easy to wear. It was like having the feel of summer comfort when I put them on. They were waterproof, durable, and easy to clean and dry which means they could be perfect to wear rain or shine! The classic style could match any outfit: from bikinis, swim wear, tees, tights, capris, shorts, jeans, tank tops, sun dresses, or skirts. For girls who love going for a night out, a pair of Jelly Nelly could be good to slip on too.
I also thought that pregnant women would benefit from the sandals' comfy and safety features. If only I knew about this product when I was pregnant, I would have gotten a pair.
I also learned that Jelly Nelly sandals are made of
Eco Jelly- the latest technological material used that follows the
safest and strictest standards for material composition, making them very friendly for our feet and the environment. Therefore, they're clean inside and out!
I noticed that the buckles were made from stainless steel so it would be best to rinse them with clean water when used in the beach, pool, or during rainy season like the care that we do for other metals.
On the Jelly Nelly website we can see more fun and colorful designs for kids and adults that have a new twist to the classic! It's emphasized that comfort and joy of the summer is always integrated into every design. Check out the photos of Jelly Nelly Collection!

Jelly Nelly was an imported brand introduced to the Philippines approximately three summers ago if I wasn't mistaken. The popularity of the brand grew as years pass. The brand was featured constantly in different local magazines.
Aside from joining bazaars, many Jelly Nelly Outlets near us were launched too: http://www.jellynelly.com/stores/
