Maya Chocolate Cake with Buttermilk Sauce
September 10, 2014Buttermilk Syrup, Chocolate Cake, Easy Recipes, Food, Maya Cake Mix, Maya Oven Toaster Cake Mix,
1 cup water
6 tablespoons oil
5 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
100 grams butter, melted in room temperature
1. Prepare the steamer before mixing the cake ingredients and buttermilk sauce. It saves time waiting for the water to boil.
Why do I prefer steaming instead of baking?
It makes the cake more moist and soft.
2. Brush the bottom of an 8 inch circular pan with cooking oil.
3. Combine eggs, water, and oil in a bowl. Add chocolate cake mix. Mix and beat with a wooden spoon until smooth, about 80-90 strokes.
1. Whisk all the ingredients of buttermilk sauce in a saucepan until all ingredients are well-blended. Make sure that the mixture has no lumps before cooking.
Transfer the cake on a big plate. Chill for 15-30 minutes.

Very easy and ang sarap ha! I wanted to try this! I love baking pero baking doesnt like me hehehehe. =) thanks for this recipe. =)
ReplyDeleteTry mo na, Mommy Jen! I usually steam my cakes. When you follow the cooking directions, madali lang. :)
DeleteOh, I haven't tried yang buttermilk sauce. Hmmmm. Ma-try nga! :)
ReplyDeleteSige, try it! It complements the chocolate cake. Parang gusto ko rin siyang gawing base sa frosting. Siguro when I put cream baka pwede. I'll experiment again next time. Thanks, Kat! :)
Deletei'm planning na din to buy steamer na engganyo ako sa mga niluluto mo sj! what we have kasi at home is a microwave oven, dun ako gumagawa ng cupcake, i want din sana to try baking cake tska yung mga leche flan. how much ba yung ganyang steamer?
ReplyDeleteWhat I have here at home is our 20 year old aluminum steamer. Ito 'yung nilalagay lang sa ibabaw ng stove. I'm not sure kung how much na ngayon ang steamer na ganito but I think it's much cheaper than the ones na de-kuryente. Thanks, Mary Joy! Buti naeengganyo naman kitang gumawa ng cakes. Balitaan mo ako kapag nakabili ka na, ha? :)
DeleteThanks for stopping by!
I would love to know your feedback!
