My Version of Petite Momma's 3-Ingredient Homemade Ice Cream

July 22, 2014
, , ,

This was inspired by Petite Momma's 3-Ingredient Homemade Cheese-Flavored and Chocolate  Ice Cream. I used Avocado instead.

Ingredients

1 small can Alaska Condensed Milk
2 kilos Avocado (makes 5 to 6 cups mashed avocado)
1 pack of 250mL Nestle All-Purpose Cream, chilled for at least 2 hours

Procedure

(As seen on Petite Momma's website with my own version)

1. Pour condensed milk in a bowl and mashed avocado. Stir until combined.

2. Whisk all-purpose cream until stiff. You can use a wire whisk if you don't have an electric mixer.

3. Transfer some of the whipped cream into avocado-milk mixture and stir until well mixed.

4. Pour the mixture into the whipped cream and fold until combined.

5. Transfer the mixture into a container. Cover with cling-wrap and freeze for at least five hours.

The avocado wasn't mashed too much because we wanted our ice cream to be chunky.

You may use the blender to make the avocado pasty or smoother in texture. We prefer our ice cream not too sweet. You may add more or less condensed milk based on your preference.

Why buy when  we can make our own? It's very easy to prepare, costs less, and we know that it's a healthier option compared to commercially prepared ones. Try it! It's so yummy and refreshing! Kudos to Petite Momma for sharing this!
